This is my sweet hubby Kyle! Isn't he cute? Yesterday was our 9th wedding anniversary! I am so pleased that the Lord has blessed us and our marriage. Kyle works hard at everything he does, being on task for the Lord, being a husband, a father, at his job......
He will be chaperoning a missions trip to Uganda in the fall. It is an expensive trip. He was asked by our Sunday School teacher to accompany a young ladies basketball team on this trip. Being a one income family, this is an expensive task for him! However he knows that God commands us to go unto all the nations in His name! Kyle is excited about the trip and I am excited for him! Spending time in orphanages and with a feeding program are going to be amazing experiences!!
So most of you have seen other posts where I have given you an opportunity to help with this trip. I am putting it out here one more time. The remaining balance of the trip is due in 2 weeks and we still need to raise quite a bit! I have taken down the paypal buttons because of the fees they were chargin per donation. You can give directly through https://www.visitingorphans.org/donations/donate.aspx. In the drop down list, please choose the August 2010 Uganda trip and designate your gift to Kyle Carter.
You can also still buy coffee from justlovecoffee.com/kylecarter. They have a wonderful selection and $5 from each bag goes to the missions trip! There is a buttonlink down my right sidebar also!
Thank you for contributing! The biggest contribution the whole team needs is prayer! Many of them have not been out of the country before. It is an 11 day trip that involves over 20 hours of flight! The culture and environment are going to be very different. Like Kyle many of the team members have never been on a missions trip before. Pray that hearts will be open in Africa to the message they are bringing!
Thank you blog friends! May God bless your day!
