Kelly & John Rosati have 4 adopted children. Each of their adoptions is a unique story of God's plan. Written from Kelly's perspective, this true life story tells of the Rosatis' lives, adoptions, and work in adoptions. It is wonderful to read about the movement of God in their lives and to understand where each of the 4 children came from. Orphan awareness is something that Hubby & I have been learning the last few years. His trip to Africa to serve orphans, international and domestic adoption and foster care by close friends, and more have really opened our eyes to the world and it's children.
While we do have to "wait more" due to financial circumstances, we do consider that fostering or adoption may be in our family's future. This book doesn't lay guilt on anyone that does not feel called to adopt or is not at the right time to adopt, it just lays foundation for praying for orphans and opening your heart to God and what He would ask you to do. It isn't a pretty story they share where everything is perfect. In fact, Kelly Rosati shows the good and the bad of fostering and adoption. I think it's a clear and relevant picture.
If you have ever considered fostering or adoption, especially if you do foster or have adopted, or if you just love to hear the stories of God, check out Wait No More. It's a quick read that will stick in your heart for a long time to come.
