Hipster, Cool and Good for the Planet Too!">>

Future Oxygen has created dual purpose jewelry! These bracelets (and necklaces) make fantastic casual jewelry that is perfect for spring and summer BUT also are good for the planet! How you ask? Well they are eco friendly, made from hemp, AND can be planted! Why would I plant a bracelet? Well because the bead contains a white pine seed!

Honestly the smiley face bracelet is so adorable that I don't see Apple giving up to plant a tree anytime soon. She loves it! If she hadn't been so enarmored with it, I would have kept it myself. Luckily the seed is good for up to 2 years so she has plenty of time to change her mind. If you decide to plant your jewelry you simply soak the whole pendant for 24 hours and then plant it outside or in a pot. It is okay to get your Future Oxygen jewelry wet, but prolonged water exposure (shower, pool, etc) is not recommended.

Future Oxygen has not only bracelets but necklaces and key chains as well! Check out my super cute flower necklace! I've worn it with several different outfits and have had lots of compliments on it! It's casual but cute and comfy. The hemp necklace adjusts easily and goes with just about anything.

Future Oxygen isn't just planet concious, it's people concious as well. Here's more about their newest program:

"Future Oxygen started the Smile Exchange program this month. For every pendant sold on our website, Future Oxygen will donate a bracelet to a child in need. We are currently working with Ele's place offering grief counseling and support for children that have lost an immediate family member. And we are also working with Operation Military Kids that will include a bracelet in their backpacks to give to children with a parent being deployed overseas."
Now this is the kind of company I can get excited about! To learn more, visit one of their links above! Plus Future Oxygen is giving one lucky reader their own bracelet! Follow the simple Rafflecopter form below to enter!

Dresses, Dresses, Dresses!

Okay so I'm not much of a dress lady. My sweet Apple LOVES dresses and is constantly encouraging me to wear more dresses but honestly I just don't like the way I look in most of them. I am beginning to love maxi dresses however. I have one that for 2 years has been my go to in the summer but honestly it's starting to look ragged!

Crowdtap and Old Navy gave my bestie and I certificates for 1 free dress each. We had the best time! We made a Saturday morning of it and all together tried on close to 20 dresses.

We both liked a couple of dresses but some just didn't cut the mustard. Here's me in a shorter dress:

Just not a great look for me. I look like a marshmallow. However the maxi dresses won out! Jamie found a lovely blue number (I tried this on in pink and really liked it but it looked better on Jamie!).

Ain't she purty? And can't even tell she has a newborn!!!!

I got a really fun maxi dress. It is colorful and comfortable. I bought a periwinkle tank and cardigan to dress up my dress for Easter! Jamie will wear hers for Easter also.

This is my dress! Ignore my Saturday morning hair! With the periwinkle tank and cardi it looks terrific! I love that I can wear lots of different tanks underneath and that it can be a more casual look. Casual gets a lot more use out of this homeschool mama!

Get out to your local ON and check out all the dresses! There is something for everyone. And flip flops to match!

A Heart for Children

If you have a heart for children, a heart for missions, or just a compassionate heart, you will want to see Three Hearts. This DVD is the story of three children from Mongolia that are brought to the United States by the Children's Heart Project for life saving surgeries. The story is presented by Samaritan's Purse and starts Cissie Graham Lynch. You will learn more the Children's Heart Project and what it really does.

More than that you will meet these three children and their families. You will see what a vast difference this makes in their lives not only physically but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Each of their stories is unique. They are all from Mongolia but are different ages, come from different family situations, and different parts of Mongolia. Their personalities are unique and you will fall in love with each one. A family from Texas, who has a little boy that has had heart surgery, flies to Mongolia to accompany the children and their mothers back to San Antonio. You will also meet two host families that care for the Monoglian families while they are in the US.

I tuned into this video to see how the hearts of three children were transformed, but my heart was transformed. It is amazing to see and hear about the differences in medical care available in a place like Mongolia. We need that reminder often. I smiled through tears as these families were changed forever not only by surgery but also by experiencing the love of Christ for the very first time. I held my breath with the mothers as they waited to hear the results of the surgeries. This 98 minutes of your time is more than worth it.

I received this DVD through Booksneeze for the purpose of this review. All opinions are my own and I was not required to write a positive review.

Work Out Crops

Jockey has a new Shaping Crop Legging that you are going to want to try! I was so excited to try this out in my biweekly Zumba class. I get so frustrated with workout gear that requires constant attention. I don't want to pull or tug on my clothes, I want to dance! Zumba is much too hot for regular shorts and a tshirt. I need workout clothes that pull sweat away from the skin.

The Jockey Crop Leggings provided everything I needed and more! They are super comfy and cool. They are longer than a capri but shorter than pants. For someone on the shorter side, they hit a few inches above my sock line. I suggest when you purchase yours that you go with a size smaller if you are between sizes. I choose the larger size and they are a bit roomier in the waist than they need to be. However I have really enjoyed them. Here's a short video with a little more about them:

Jockey wants to know "What's Your Sport?" I guarantee whatever it is, you'll want a pair of these Jockey Shaping Crop Leggings for it!

I received this product for the purpose of review as a member of the Jockey Inner Circle. I was not required to write a positive review and all opinions are my own.
