A Treasure of Parables for Kids {Review & Giveaway}

Liz Curtis Higgs has written the Parable Treasury, and I received it to review.  This big book for kids includes a parable for each season. All 4 stories focus on a farmer and his family. It includes The Parable of the Lily, The Sunflower Parable, The Pumpkin Patch Parable, and The Pine Tree Parable.

Each of the 4 parables are accented by beautiful illustrations from Nancy Munger. Each one adds to the joy of the stories and many of the pages have a Bible verse on the bottom. These tales are just right for a read aloud. Each one is around 30 pages long but there are only a few sentences on each page. It's so fun to have a special parable for each season!

This is a great book to share with your family or little ones at church. My copy will be going into the bag I take to Wednesday night activities for the kids at our church. Would you like a copy? Enter via the Giveaway Tools widget. One entry will be randomly selected to receive a copy of Parable Treasury. You can get a sneak peek of Parable Treasury here.

I received my copy free from Tommy Nelson in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

  1. I love fall also because I love taking my son apple picking and pumpkin picking, his excitement over choosing a Halloween costume and we love collecting beautiful fall leaves! I also love not sweating all day like I do in the summer and finally being able to wear comfy sweatshirts lol!!
