The Mystery at Science Camp

I received a free copy of this book from BookLook in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

Andora (Andi) Boggs is back. This time she & her buddy Colin are going to Discovery Camp at the local university. Discovery Camp is limited to the brightest science students that apply. As Andi and Colin navigate science courses, the university campus, and college professors, strange things start to happen. First all of a professor's dry erase markers disappear (as a home school teacher that would be a real nightmare) and another professor's crickets are all set loose. Is someone trying to sabotage Discovery Camp? Maybe it is the odd campus maintenance man. Surely someone who trims the lawn with scissors is suspicious.

Andi Under Pressure by Amanda Flower follows Andi Unexpected. Apple enjoyed this second mystery just as much as she enjoyed the first. Andi and her sister are now living with their aunt in Killdeer, Ohio following the death of their parents. Although Apple can't relate to Andi's situation she can certainly relate to a girl who loves science and a good mystery.

I enjoy these books for her because they are good, clean books. There are no romantic overtures (I love that a boy and girl character are really just friends!), no foul language, and no foul intent from the main characters. I can give her these books and know she won't be reading about any mature subjects.

If you have a child that loves a good mystery then introduce them to the Andi Boggs series from Amanda Flower. Also make sure to enter the special children's books giveaways I have happening right now!
